Set Up Trailer Types

Lets you create, view, and change trailer types.

Add new trailer type

Click to create a new trailer type.

Type

the trailer type identifier. Click to open the Edit Trailer Type window and change its details.

Description

The trailer type description, such as "Flatbed" or "40 Foot."

Default Mon. Plan

The monitoring plan that is automatically assigned to trailers when they are assigned to this trailer type.

Auto-Stop Mon. Plan

The system switches to this monitoring plan if you don't want to monitor the trailer as actively when it has a load and is being pulled by a tractor as you do when it is disconnected. You need to select On Omni disconnect under Company Settings to enable this feature.

Multi-Unit

Check the box to stop alerts if multiple trailers are connected to the same tractor.

Trailers

The number of trailers assigned to this trailer type.
