Trailer Details - Reporting - Sensor Parameters
The Sensor Parameters sections (Cargo, Door, Auxiliary) let you view and change sensor information including cargo, door, and auxiliary sensors. After you change settings, make sure that you click save. Note that these sensor names are configurable by your company and may be different.
Sensor Parameters - Cargo
- Cargo Sensor Installed?
- Indicates if a cargo sensor is installed on the trailer. The following cargo settings appear if there is a cargo sensor installed.
- Check Interval
- From the drop-down list, select the interval at which you want to check the cargo status.
- Recheck Interval
- From the drop-down list, select the interval after which you want to verify the detection of a cargo sensor status change.
- Recheck count
- From the drop-down list, select the number of times that you want to verify the cargo status change before sending an alert.
- Unloaded / Loaded Action
- From the drop-down list, select the action that you want
to perform when an unloaded or a loaded event occurs. Options are:
- Ignore-no action is taken when the event occurs.
- Send with next message-the message is sent the next time the terminal sends a scheduled message, such as a status report.
- Send immediately-send the event as soon as it is detected.
- Send immediately and stay awake-send the event as soon as it is detected and stay powered up (awake) until the stay awake interval is reached.
Sensor Parameters - Door
- Door Sensor Installed?
- When checked, indicates that this sensor is installed.
- Door sensor - Name
- The sensor name defaults from company-wide settings. Type a new sensor name if the default is not meaningful for this trailer.
- Open Time / Close Time
- From the drop-down list, select an interval that you want to verify an open event or a closed event occurred after the event has been detected.
- Meaning of Open / Closed
- The open / closed status value defaults from company-wide settings. Type a new value if the default is not meaningful for this sensor.
- Open / Close Action
- From the drop-down list, select the action that you want
to take when open and close events occur. Options are:
- Ignore-no action is taken when the event occurs.
- Send with next message-the message is sent the next time the terminal sends a scheduled message, such as a status report.
- Send immediately-send the event as soon as it is detected.
- Send immediately and stay awake-send the event as soon as it is detected and stay powered up (awake) until the stay awake interval is reached.
- Send with next message when not empty-the message is sent the next time the terminal sends a scheduled message if the cargo sensor detects that the trailer is loaded.
- Send immediately when not empty-the message is sent as soon as it is detected if the cargo sensor detects that the trailer is loaded.
- Send immediately and stay awake when not empty-send the event as soon as it is detected and stay powered up (awake) until the stay awake interval is reached if the cargo sensor detects that the trailer is loaded.
- Send immediately when not empty, with next message when empty-send the event now if the cargo sensor detects that the trailer is loaded, or with the next message if the trailer is empty.
- Send immediately and stay awake when not empty, with next message when empty-send the event now if the cargo sensor detects that the trailer is loaded and stay powered up (awake) until the stay awake interval is reached, or with the next message if the trailer is empty.
Sensor Parameters - Auxiliary
- Auxiliary Sensor Installed?
- When checked, indicates that this sensor is installed.
- Aux sensor - Name
- The sensor name defaults from company-wide settings. Type a new sensor name if the default is not meaningful for this trailer.
- Open Time / Close Time
- From the drop-down list, select an interval that you want to verify an open event or a closed event occurred after the event has been detected.
- Meaning of Open / Closed
- The open / closed status value defaults from company-wide settings. Type a new value if the default is not meaningful for this sensor.
- Open / Close Action
- From the drop-down list, select the action that you want to take when an open or close event occurs. Options are the same as for the door sensor listed above.
