Macro Reset

Macros are used with OmniTRACS-equipped vehicles. Macro reset is not needed with MCP fleets.

A system failure status results when forward and return macros fail to reach OmniTRACS mobile units because they were not properly defined. Forward macros include alerts, warnings, violations, and driver logs. Return macros include log in/log out notifications, log approval messages, log requests, driver events, and duty status changes.

Click the Reset button on the Macro Reset page to reset this type of failure. After all other system failure issues (if any) have been resolved, the HOS system sends an alert to the impacted vehicles informing drivers that they can resume using electronic logs, and the impacted drivers and co-drivers (if any) are sent their logs to review and approve.
