Edit Subscriber

The Edit Subscriber page lets you change the name and subscribed transactions for a subscriber.

You must have permission to dequeue transactions to change a subscriber. After you change subscriber information, make sure that you click Save at the bottom of the page.

Name

The name used to identify this subscriber.

Reference

The reference number is automatically assigned and uniquely identifies each subscriber.

Feed status

Shows the status of the feed from the database to the queue. If it is not enabled, contact Omnitracs for assistance.

Subscriptions and Cross Company Subscriptions

Standard subscriptions are those transactions used by your company. Cross company subscriptions are those transactions that another company has invited you to subscribe to.

Check the box in the Subscribe? column next to each transaction you want to dequeue for this subscriber. Click the symbol inside [ ] next to each transaction category to close and open the list of transactions in that category.

Transactions can be associated with more than one subscriber. For example, you may subscribe to transactions in the Position Feeds category for a subscriber that forwards the data to an enhanced map application, and to the same transactions for another subscriber that forwards the data to a route optimization application.
