Global Groups: Hierarchy

Here is a representation of an organizational hierarchy. Typically, large fleets with multiple terminals and management levels find this global groups feature useful because it allows users to focus on the information they use in the applications that recognize global groups.

Each manager can work with the associated vehicles/drivers. Directors can work with the vehicles and drivers of all managers who report to them. The CEO can work with all of the vehicles and drivers.

Roles assigned to each level of management control what the user can do with the entities. For example, managers can edit vehicle and driver details and exchange information with vehicles. Directors and above can view vehicle and driver information and send information to the entire fleet.
